NEW DELHI, 26 July 2010: Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi Chairman Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP, presented a Scroll Invitation for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi to the President Mrs. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.

The invitation are being given to VVIPs in India and has been sent to all 71 memebers of the Commonwealth Games Federation.

The Invitation scroll is made of indigenous natural fabric that reflects the spirit of India. The scroll has sticks, decorated with beads and tassels, at the ends for it to be rolled. The invitation has embellishments in terms of embroideries that depict the heritage of India and has a creative packaging that is tamper proof and courier-friendly.
